Today Tovin and I slept in longer than we meant to, past 8:15am. We eventually got out of bed, and packed everything up. When Tovin arrived last night, he had brought a second bag for me from home, with stuff that I want after the Camino is finished. Until then though, I just moved some stuff around, and then we left and went to a nearby café. This café was special, because for a small fee, they would store your luggage for you while you hiked a different trail. So we dropped off my second bag, and will collect it again in a few days.

Next we went and got new pilgrim credentials for the finesterre, and then sat and looked at the cathedral for a little bit, before getting going. It was really nice once we started to get out of town, and there weren't many people. It was just really nice to be walking with Tovin again, and we had a lot of fun. We saw so many cats today, but my favorite was during the first section of our morning, he was so friendly and let me pick him up for a little while.

We stopped at a café just before lunch and both had a café con leche, and a tortilla which also came with a piece of bread. After we ate and hung out for awhile, we left and then came the worst part of the day. We had a super big hill, that went on for 3km. We even looked on the map afterwards, and there was a warning that said "3km hard hill" and had an alternative route around it. Unfortunately, we didn't know this before, but Tovin carried my pack most of the way up and then for awhile longer.

Once we were over the hill, we stopped again at another café to fill our water bottles and also got a sangria, and then continued on for awhile until we got to a bridge along the route, one of the landmarks for the Camino Finesterre. Each day has a different landmark that it is known for, and this was a really cool one today. We took some pictures and explored, and the continued walking until we got to a small tourism office where Tovin went inside and got a stamp for it.

We stopped at a grocery store and got stuff for supper - bread, cheese, meat, wine, some yogurts for breakfast for tomorrow, and a new water bottle for me since mine was getting pretty beat up. Then we walked the rest of the way to our hostel for the night, where we checked in. They gave us two bunk beds, and Tovin took the top and I took the bottom.

I showered while Tovin started on laundry, and then Tovin showered afterwards once we hung up the laundry together. Then we just hung out for a little while and I showed Tovin all my photos from the last few days, before we went out to find him a pair of shower shoes. We got a pair of croks from a store called "Bazar Chino" and then also some disposable razors. We dropped it off at the hostel, then went for a longer walk before coming back and having supper.

We took our supper to the park and drank and ate, and then we were still a little hungry so went to the grocery store and got some baby eels, more bread, and some potato chips. We went to the hostel and sat on the couch and ate them together, and they were very good. After we finished eating, we went and got ready for bed, and then Tovin put some lotion on my feet for me before going up to his bunkbed and getting into bed.
